Art: Verdigris Valley Art Show & Contest held at the Independence Historical Museum and Art Center, Mural Painting downtown. June 16th - July 16th. Information under “Visual Arts,” or go to www.ihmac.com. Call for entries now posted.
Art: Professional muralist, Heidi Sallows, will be painting a patriotic mural on the wall belonging to the Community National Bank drive-thru facility during and after the festival. Come watch Heidi as she creates a work of art representing the pride of our community.
